A. How to quickly open applications
Press the Windows key and type the letter of application that want to open, eg, 'chr' for the 'Google Chrome', 'it' to 'iTunes', etc., and then press Enter. Or you can also press Windows + 1 to open the application that was first on the taskbar, Windows + to open a second application.
2. Turn off Automatic Window Management
At initial setup, Windows 7 automatically resizes your window open if it moved to the edge of the screen. For some, it's a bit annoying, you can overcome it by clicking Control Panel, then select Erase of Access Center, Make the Mouse Easier to Use.
Then Uncheck Prevent Windows from being Automatically Arranged When Moved to the Edge of the Screen, and press Enter.
