The new camera series consists of eight series PowerShot SX260 type HS, SX240, D20, A4000 IS, A3400 IS, A2400 IS, A2300 and A810, as well as four types of series Ixus 510 HS, 500 HS, 240 HS and 125 HS. Eight new members of the PowerShot family features an image stabilizer (IS) which can reduce vibration automatically when users take a picture.
Then, type SX260 and SX240 also has brought the latest processor, DIGIC 5. While the other six series, namely the PowerShot D20, A4000 IS, A3400 IS, A2400 IS, A2300, and A810 still uses DIGIC 4 processor.
Just like the PowerShot SX260 and SX240, four digital cameras also have been using Canon Ixus DIGIC processor 5 and the IS feature.
'' Armed with DIGIC processor 5, the noise is not very visible in the image when the user is using the ISO is too high,'' said Assistant Marketing Manager Angelie Datascrip Ivone on the sidelines of the launch of 12 new pocket Canon digital cameras.
