Calling Apple iPhone Rumor Prepare 4.6 Inches

Apple iPhone rumored will enlarge the screen, the size of 3.5 inches which is currently used. Retina Display technology will also be used in the new iPhone.

Quoting Reuters, Apple is said to have ordered a screen measuring 4.6 inches with Retina Display technology, to its suppliers. Smartphone is planned to be present in the second quarter of this year.

If true, this device will be the fourth device that uses the Retina Display, after The New IPAD 9.7 inches has just been released and two series of 3.5-inch iPhone-sized screen, the iPhone iPhone 4 and 4S.


Citing CNet, Retina Display on iPhone 960x640 pixels 326 pixels per inch compact. Meanwhile, the resolution on the iPad achieve a compact 2.048x1.536 pixel 264 pixel per inch.

4.6-inch glass screen for the smartphone will be a big step for Apple. Therefore, the 3.5-inch screen on the iPhone is considered too small. With a larger size, it also allows Apple to update the chip, such as A5X, which is a feature graphics chip for quad-core.

In comparison, Samsung Galaxy S II skyrocket HD has a 4.65-inch AMOLED screen Super HD.

However, MacRumors wrote the truth of the rumor was low. "There are strong rumors that the next generation iPhone will carry a 4 inch screen is bigger and we are confident that Apple has a design exactly like the final prototype stage in China," wrote MacRumors.

Indeed, there were reports before the launch of the iPhone 4S that Apple is working on the iPhone with a bigger screen. However, the reports estimate the size of this phone is between 4.2 to 4.3 inches, not 4.6 inches.
